Chocolate Chip Cream Cheese Cookies

1/4 c. butter
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 egg
1/4 teaspoon vanilla
1 pkg. (2 layer) yellow cake mix
1 (8 oz) pkg. chocolate chips
1/2 cup. chopped nuts

Cream butter and cheese until light & fluffy. Beat in egg & vanilla and add the cake mix a little at a time until all had been added and is smooth. Stir in nuts & chips. Bake at 375 degree F. for 10 to 12 min.
